'Pistachio' The Kiwi, released into Otanewainuku Forest

'Pistachio' The Kiwi, released into Otanewainuku Forest

Posted by WildKiwi Clothing on

We are delighted to let you know we have just given $1500 to the Otanewainuku Trust which restores kiwi back into the wild. The proceeds came from the last three months sales of our multi scarves from which we donate 50 cents from each scarf sold.

The money was used to buy tracker dogs to find the kiwi 'Pistachio' as he had lost his GPS device. Once he was located he was caught and released into the Otanewainuku Forest which is a protected area.

We wish "Pistachio" well and may he stay safe.
